Tom, Robert and Amanda Wilson currently 13 jobs safeguarded spearhead the rapid progression of this thriving rural business. This one time family farm is now a multimillion pound operation, growing and packaging a wide range of produce mainly for supermarket outlets.
“The grants have helped us invest in a modern packhouse and packing equipment. That has enabled us to expand our business with ALDI by 180%,” explains Tom Wilson.
The success of the grant application has enabled the business to undertake a massive expansion programme which has safeguarded 13 jobs and created 57 more over a three year period.
"I am proud of the relationship we have built up over the years and the opportunity
you have offered Aldi to support the local economy. I am confident that by working
together the relationship will continue to go from strength to strength."
- Richard Smith, Trading Director Aldi Stores Ltd
Turnover has also quadrupled over the same period and with a flexible approach to working and partnering with other farmer growers the future looks good for continued growth and success.
