The Mersey ForestForestry is a key rural industry supporting a wide range of jobs and businesses as well as providing an environmental resource for all to enjoy. The Mersey Forest is working to deliver ICEP through Community Forestry. Grants are available for the creation, improvement and management of woodlands and other habitats. In addition, The Mersey Forest have funds to support businesses who are helping to develop the use of local timber products and making the forest happen. We also facilitate a number of woodland schemes such as the Woodland Grant Scheme, Farm Woodland Premium Scheme, JIGSAW, Woodland Improvement Grants that are funded by Forestry Commission.
